It's very wishful thinking to envision listing agents NOT favoring their own clients, when they stand to make twice the commission. Until this is outright illegal ( to sell to your own client without the use of a collaborating agent) we will continue to have rampant abuses, discipline committees, complaints and hearings notwithstanding.
