please GMREB stop trying to make a position in social media. it is a complete waste of money, I can't believe real estate agents need twitter or facebook to sell homes. better that people can't find real estate on facebook or twitter, or they will soon not even call an agent for information, they will just be misinformed. who will monitor all this social media content?

my last point is that generation Y are not buying homes for 600k they are looking to find deals. generation Y are not listing homes it is Babyboomers, who infact no little or nothing about this new trend.

in my opinion real estate is not an industry for young computer savy eco-friendly agents on bicycles. who believe that it is easy to sell a house regardless of your experience or social/economic position.

My opinion is that it is not a must, just a trend, that if followed will cause grief to actual agents(who have paid their dues to establish GMREB) soon brokers will do like in USA and you will be able to make offers right online through the brokers website. this will infact cause new brokers to compete for a position on the web, which costs alot of money! I prefer edgar because of its simplicity and the fact that the agents could control it. you will see you cannot control the WWW

I am generation X and even I am often to young an inexperienced in life to approch Babyboomers successfuly for listings. if you want to sell homes for 600k you need to live in the area of 600k homes and have those types of circles of friends around you.

if you were a young agent in Malibu you could sell homes for 1m, that doesn't mean that a 19 year old in quebec will have any of these opportunities. please stop selling these kids dreams, our brokers do enough of that

want to be an excellent real estate agent stay in school, goto university, and become active in your community, then when you turn approx. 35yrs old you will be more effective. None of the buyers or vendors I have met in the last two years want to buy a house off a kid no matter how powerful his laptop is.
